The International Conference on Earthquake engineering and Structural Dynamics will take place in  Reykjavík on the 12th-14th of June 2017.  The conference is being organized in honour of late Prof. Ragnar Sigbjörnsson. Prof. Ragnar was a distinguished researcher and teacher in structural mechanics, engineering seismology, and earthquake engineering. The conference aims to bring together latest developments in these fields, and highlight Prof. Ragnar’s contributions. Eleven keynote lectures from distinguished researchers will showcase the contemporary leading edge in these fields of research. All accepted contributions will be published as full papers in a conference proceedings.

Extension of paper submission deadline

Due to numerous requests, the deadline for full paper submission has been extended to  24 March 2017. Please note that no further extension beyond March 24 is possible due to the time required for the peer review and subsequent revision of the papers.

Registration fees

Due to many requests from contributing authors, who require paper acceptance confirmation before making registration payment, we have decided that the registration fees until 15 May 2017 will be the same as the early bird payment. See the registration page for more details.

Book chapter deadline extension

Due to numerous requests regarding book chapter submission, it has been decided to extend the deadline for submission of book chapters to the 15th of December. We hope that this extension will suffice and encourage authors to make good use of the time provided. Please note that there is no page limit for book chapters. Book chapters don’t need to follow a template. Authors can format their papers as they wish, and all chapters will be typeset by Springer.
